Tecnifibre Carboflex 135 X-Top Squash Racquet

Tecnifibre Carboflex 135 X-Top Squash Racquet is the latest in the Carboflex range, a range which has been in production since 2004 and used by many of the world's top players throughout this time. The range has been continually updated and improved over the years and now has the latest revolutionary monoshaft design which offers both power and control.

Carboflex X-Top gets its name from the new innovation which has been inspired and designed with Mohamed El Shorbagy. This is a patented technology which allows the removal of the bumper's plastic inactive material at the top of the head frame and use 100% active fibres. This results in more resistance, speed, power, reactivity and playability. Without the bumper and using integrated grommets, this sleek frame design offers greater racquet acceleration and a reduction in vibration which in turn offers added comfort.

The active fibres at the top of the racquet are the same materials as used in bulletproof vests, which are aramid fibres and provide maximum shock resistance. This, together with PTFE or Teflon, increase the sliding on contact with the wall or floor for maximum abrasion resistance. This new mix offers more resistance than traditional bumpers.

X-Top has been constructed with the same technologies as the Airshaft range. The Airshaft section offers a sharper frame geometry which results in a more dynamic response and higher swing speed. The shaft has been strengthened with the addition of X-Arms Technology which provides greater stability and improved aerodynamics but without the additional weight. At the 3, 9 and 12 o'clock positions on the racquet, there are 12 enlarged string holes which encourage string movement. This also results in an improved tolerance of the racquet for a greater sweet spot to offer the generation of more power.

The Carboflex range come pre-strung in Tecnifibre's Dynamix VP string. The X-Top is designed with an all-white design and 3D detailing on the shaft.
